Behandlingsplanlegging med et tverrfaglig perspektiv
I hvilken grad spiller det nervomuskulære inn når det gjelder pasienter med TMJ-klikking, åpent bitt, diastema, smale tannbuer og muskelspenninger?
Det er veldig viktig å ta i betraktning nervomuskulære funksjoner hos våre pasienter. Kunnskap om og respekt for disse biologiske faktorene, sammenhengen mellom maloklusjon og muskelfunksjon, er vesentlig for å kunne hjelpe mange pasienter. For å kunne gjenopprette god funksjon og estetikk trenger vi i så stor grad som mulig å tenkte helhetlig. Feilstilte tenner, asymmetri, slitasje og tap av tenner kan føre til en situasjon hvor kjeveortopedisk behandling alene ikke er nok. Bazzucchi har arbeidet som kjeveortoped siden 1996 og har stort fokus på tverrfaglig behandlingsplanlegging og på å forstå hvorfor pasienten har problemet. Han har i mer enn 15 år vært en aktiv Invisalign speaker og trainer.
Dette webinaret vil ha fokus på helhetlig tilnærming i våre valg av behandling for å oppnå det beste estetiske, minst invasive og aller viktigst: det mest stabile behandlingsresultat over tid. Vi vil lære om tungens betydning for et stabilt bitt og viktigheten av tungens posisjon for å bevare god okklusjon. Dette er en viktig faktor etter endt kjeveortopedisk behandling, som alignerbehandling, men også for barn i vekstfase.
